Dr. Miguel Rechichi MD, PhD 🇮🇹 : Specialized in retina, corneal diseases, and refractive surgery doing in Centro Polispecialistico Mediterraneo SRL. He trained at the University of Catanzaro and gained international expertise in cataract, refractive, and retinal surgeries. Dr. Rechichi has contributed to scientific research, publishing numerous studies. He practices advanced treatments, particularly in cornea, being one of the pioneers in the development of accelerated crosslinking therapies.
Prof. Walter Sekundo 🇩🇪 : Has made significant advancements in refractive and cataract surgery particularly known as the co-developer of the SMILE surgery. Having been trained at leading institutions in Germany and UK, he now heads the Ophthalmology Department at the University Hospital in Marburg Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany. He has received several prestigious awards, including the ASCRS and the DOG.
